Erik Hassle & Ellie Goulding - “Be Mine (Robyn cover)”
Wrapping up this week’s worth of material is Erik Hassle and Ellie Goulding’s cover of Robyn’s song “Be Mine!”. I thought it was appropriate to end with something by Ellie Goulding given that so much attention has been paid to various covers that she’s done that it seems as though her popularity has grown almost solely because of them (see: “Black & Gold”, “Sleepyhead”, “Your Song”, etc.). Choosing this one ended up being hard, but her acoustic duet with Erik Hassle is just as heart-wrenching as the original.
